Starting from sustainably sourced and reclaimed wood, we transform specially selected natural branches into bronze handrails for stairways, lofts, porches, and landings.
Our story starts in a forest, not a factory. The bark, the bow, the grain: all left to speak for themselves. The result is a handrail with the worn, handcrafted soul of a found object and the stability and beauty of bronze.

The artist behind the handrails
Artisan sculptor and designer Robert Dickerson built Bronze Age Hardware on a simple belief: the objects we touch every day deserve the same eye we’d give a piece of art.
An artist and craftsman with an instinct for form, Robert personally hand-selects every branch, walking forest trails in search of the natural curves, texture, and character that will fulfill his desire for his art to have function.
